When Can You Schedule Our Spring Cleanup Services?

Our spring cleanup services are typically scheduled between March and early June. Performing a cleanup during this window helps prepare the landscape for the growing season by clearing away winter debris and refreshing garden beds before plants begin active growth.

This is also the ideal time to prune many shrubs and cut back perennials using seasonally appropriate techniques. By performing these tasks early in the season, plants can begin growing again under healthier conditions.

Fall cleanup services are also available between September and November to help prepare landscapes for the winter months.

Many homeowners choose black mulch or mahogany mulch, which are double-shredded materials that gradually break down and improve soil health while protecting plant roots. In some situations, river rock or river cobble may also be used for decorative areas or locations where improved drainage is needed.

However, decorative stone is not always recommended in planting beds that receive full sun. Stone can absorb heat and raise soil temperatures around plants, which can sometimes stress roots or foliage. Because of this, we typically recommend mulch for most garden beds while reserving decorative rock for specific landscape areas.
