Our Leaf Removal Process

During a cleanup visit, we typically blow leaves into collection areas before vacuuming them or raking them onto tarps so they can be transported to the truck for removal. This process allows us to gather leaves efficiently while keeping lawns and planting beds looking neat.

When Leaf Removal Services are Typically Performed

Leaf cleanup services usually take place during the late fall and early winter months, most commonly between November and December when trees are dropping the majority of their leaves.

Depending on the property, some homeowners schedule multiple cleanups throughout the fall, while others prefer a single cleanup once most of the leaves have fallen.

For larger properties, waiting until most leaves have dropped can often be the most cost-effective option unless the homeowner is preparing the yard for a special event.

Leaf removal can be scheduled as a standalone service, but many homeowners choose to include it as part of a more comprehensive fall cleanup.

During a fall cleanup visit, we can take care of several seasonal tasks at once so the landscape is ready for the colder months ahead. A typical cleanup may include:

Leaf Removal: Leaves are blown into collection areas before being vacuumed or gathered onto tarps and removed from the property.

Shrub & Perennial Cutbacks: Overgrown shrubs can be lightly trimmed and perennials cut back where appropriate to prepare garden beds for winter.

Landscape Bed Weed Control: We remove weeds from planting beds so they don’t compete with existing plants or spread into the garden the following season.

General Landscape Cleanup: Fallen branches, sticks, and other debris are gathered from the lawn and planting beds to leave the property looking neat and well cared for.
